Who Is Caring For Your Soul?
Hebrews 4:16 says: "Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need." (NKJV)
God aptly named this - His ministry Bold Appeals Ministry based on this incredible verse of Scripture - His Holy Word.
You are not a homosexual. You are not a lesbian. You are not bisexual. You are not transgendered. You were not born in the wrong body. If you believe any of these false self perceptions, you are misunderstanding the deepest battle for your soul taking place beneath any of the ways you act out in sexual sin and out of relational brokenness. If you love someone who believes any of the above incorrect self perceptions, you need to recognize the deeper battle of the soul going on inside of them and also within you. That is what this ministry attempts to do: educate others about the real battle taking place for our souls which manifests in many, unhealthy ways including sexual sin and certaily in relational brokenness.
My life gives evidence of the transformation only God, through His Son, Jesus Christ, can accomplish in anyone's life. The labor pains culminating in this ministry were initiated out of severe circumstances transpiring in my life. God chose my life - bringing me out of 22 years of lesbian-identification and nicotine and alcohol addictions. He began equipping me with amazing abilities to lead this ministry. Well, in reality, He had already equipped me with these amazing abilities; I just wasn't using them for His glory until after my re-birth and personal transformation in April, 2000. John 3:3 says, "Jesus answered him [Nicodemus], 'Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.'"
I was born again and given the assignment to humbly lead God's venture He named Bold Appeals Ministry. BAM exists as a multi-faceted ministry to bring hope and truth to men and women struggling with any sexual sin and relational brokenness. This ministry is God-driven, Jesus Christ-focused, and Holy Spirit-led and based entirely on the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.
Sin is not insurmountable and includes: sexual immorality, idolatry, adultery, homosexual behavior, thievery, greed, drunkenness, reviling, and swindling, yet is certainly not limited to these sins. Because of my "colorful" background, I am able to speak to the relational obstacles associated with many of these above-named sins.
No matter how your sin may manifest, I have either thought about it, done it, seen it, said it, or known someone who has done or said it; I am not shocked by your story. Neither is God. If you are God's child, you are a lost sheep as long as you live bound up by these sins and He longs to bring you back to Himself.
Mission statement: Bold Appeals Ministry spreads the inviting message of God's irrefutable love, truth, and hope through soul-caring one-on-one and group conversations, in-house media products, and by way of conferences and computer-driven social networking arenas. It seeks to reach out to the relationally broken, forlorn, sexually confused, and lonely persons by offering clear, healthy relational information and Christian joy.
Transformation requires brokenness, repentance, abandonment, confidence, and release occurring in a person's heart and life repeatedly as each person comes in contact with his/her ongoing sinful reactions to life's difficulties. Using the God-given Rainbow colors (too often hijacked and misused by unbelievers) I offer an alternative message through these colors:

New Life
